March 27, 2024, four of our Volunteer Park Rangers were presented with Certificates by the Hesperia Recreation and Park District Board of Directors. These volunteers were honored for exemplary service and dedication to the safety and security of our District parks and recreation facilities throughout the City of Hesperia. The Volunteer Park Ranger Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in learning how to safeguard parks and interact with the community. Volunteers worked closely with the HRPD Park Rangers and went on ride-alongs throughout Hesperia’s parks, facilities, and made appearances at special events. The program looks to develop good discernment, fosters respect, and helps in creating connections with visitors that encourage a positive atmosphere in the shared parks and facilities.
