Facility Rentals

If you’re searching for a venue to host your upcoming event, you’ve found the right place. Hesperia offers several facilities that can cater to your needs. Plan a business meeting, wedding or quinceañera at a community center or a sports event at one of Hesperia’s outdoor fields. Our rental rates are reasonably priced and affordable, and we provide a wide variety of settings for you to enjoy.

Community Center Rentals

You can submit your rental application from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Lime Street Park District Office at 16292 Lime Street in Hesperia. Please note that deposits are due when submitting your application, and all fees are due 30 days before the rental date.


9333 ‘E’ Avenue

With two fine banquet halls available for your special occasion, the Percy Bakker Center is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, business dinners and award banquets. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as access to steam tables, an ice unit, a walk-in refrigerator and a dance floor. For an additional fee, bar service is available.
South Room Capacity: 130 People
North Room Capacity: 230 People

The John Swisher Community Center at Hesperia Lake Park is a stunning venue that provides a distinctive and imaginative atmosphere for all your event needs. With affordable rates starting at a six hour minimum, you can enjoy the convenience of this beautiful location that will impress your guests and create unforgettable memories.

The Assembly Rooms at the Rick Novack Community Center offer an excellent place for your next event. Rates start at a six hour minimum.
Assembly Rooms Capacity: 100 People

Outdoor Field Rentals

Outdoor field rentals are popular for sports teams and organizations seeking a safe and spacious environment to practice or hold games. They offer access to amenities such as bathrooms, parking, and equipment storage and can be customized to fit the needs of different sports.

Fields at the following parks are available for rent (pending availability):

Live Oak Park

Malibu Park

Timberlane Park
9480 Timberlane Avenue – 1 Baseball Field

If you need to rent a field, contact Sarah Hauser at SHauser@HesperiaParks.com or (760) 244-5488, ext. 125, to check availability. Once your field use is approved, you can pay at Lime Street Park Community Center/District Office at 16292 Lime Street, Hesperia, CA.

Please note that for team practices, you are required to provide the following documents to the District before payment can be accepted:

A team roster that includes the addresses and phone numbers of all players and coaches

Proof of non-profit status

A Certificate of Liability Insurance and an endorsement naming the District as an additional insured. If you rent fields at Hesperia Lake or Maple Park, you must also provide a certificate for the City of Hesperia. Similarly, if you rent fields at Malibu Park, you must provide a certificate for the Hesperia Unified School District.

All coaches must be fingerprinted. If any coaches still need to be fingerprinted, there will be an additional cost of $52.00.

Discounted rates are available for District Residents, Active Military, Veterans, and non-profit organizations that benefit District residents. Discounts are available for dependent family members.

Picnic Area Rentals

Picnic areas at all parks are first-come, first-serve except at Hesperia Lake Park (7500 Arrowhead Lake Rd), where only rentals are available by online application.

FAQ

No. All reservations and payments must be made at the Hesperia Recreation and Park District office at 16292 Lime Street, Hesperia.

Deposits are due at the time of your Rental Application submission. All other fees are due no later than 30 days before your event. Upon request of your application, District personnel will provide you with detailed information on deposits and fees along with due dates.

No. Deposits and rental fees are separate.

Yes. To avoid a $50.00 change fee, all changes to the original application must be made 30 or more days before your event. Any changes made within 30 days of your event will incur a $50.00 change fee and any other changes that require fees.

Lime Street Park Community Center, Rick Novack Community Center, and John Swisher Community Center require your set-up. Our staff will take down the tables and chairs. You must clean up your trash and personal property within one hour after your event.

Percy Bakker North and South Room rentals provide set-up and takedown for your event. Room floorplan sheets are available to provide our staff with directions on how you would like your event layout to be organized.

No. We only supply the tables and chairs for your event. You will need to provide all your linens, tableware, and decorations.

No. You will need to provide your caterer, or you may bring in your food.

A certificate of liability insurance is required for any rentals with alcohol. If you provide the required insurance, you may bring in beer and wine at the following locations: Lime Street Park Community Center, Rick Novack Community Center and John Swisher Community Center. No hard alcohol is allowed at these facilities.

The Percy Bakker Community Center offers bar service; therefore, you may not bring your alcohol to these facilities.

Lime Street Park Community Center, Rick Novack Community Center, or John Swisher Community Center facilities do not offer any kitchen amenities.
Please review the Percy Bakker Community Center information for some kitchen amenities offered at that location.

The Percy Bakker Community Center offers bar service; therefore, you may not bring your alcohol to these facilities.

Rangers on call with periodic visits are included for events with music and/or alcohol.

If you leave the facility in the same condition you received it (no damages and all rules and regulations were followed), you will receive your entire deposit refund in the form of a check 4-6 weeks following your event.

 All facility rental cancellations made at least 30 days before the event will be subject to a penalty charge of 25% of the deposit and fees. Any cancellation less than 30 days will not be considered.
