All adult applicants are asked to complete a background check and training prior to participating in activities.

Park Ranger program
Gain beneficial on-the-job experience
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a Park Ranger? Does protecting the parks while engaging with your community sound like an exciting career? Kickstart your dreams in the Volunteer Park Ranger program at the Hesperia Recreation and Park District and gain valuable skills that will shine on any resume.
Join the HRPD Park Rangers on ride-a-longs throughout Hesperia’s parks, facilities and special events. Build relationships with community members, learn good judgment and respect, and foster a positive environment in the parks and facilities we share.

Qualifications:
• Ages 18 and over
• Legal resident of the U.S.
• High School Graduate
• Be in good health
• Be of good moral habits/character with no arrest or convictions record
• No pending misdemeanor or felony court cases
