Girls Volleyball Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the upcoming Girls fall volleyball season. Girls between the ages of 9-17 will be eligible to play volleyball at the newly renovated gym at the Rick Novack Commuity Center. The season runs from October 11th through December 6th. Summer Kids Kamp Registration is Now Open
Summer is calling and we are ready. Kids Kamp provides a fun alternative to Day Care. Open daily from 6am to 6pm, Kids Kamp offers many activities kids can enjoy. Kids Kamp offers kidsย the opportunity to meet with their friends and make new ones while crafting or playing video games. They will also enjoy some fun in the sun with sports clinics, swimming and other outdoor activities. Registration is now open and runs throughout Summer. Daily or weekly rates are available. Summer Basketball Registration Is Open
It's that time again and Youth Basketball is Back! Now is the time to sign up your player for our Summer Youth Basketball Program. Players of all skill levels are invited to join. Located at the Rick Novack Community Center, 13558 Palm St., Hesperia, CA 92345. Season runs from July 7, 2025 โ September 6, 2025; Playoffs are the following week. Attention all Fisherman – Fishing Poles Needed for Kids
Do you have functioningย ๐ฃfishing poles๐ฃย sitting in your garage that you no longer use? Please consider donating them for kids to use at our Kid's Fishing Clinic! The Clinic will take place on Saturday, March 29th from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at Hesperia Lake Park, 7500 Arrowhead Lake Rd., Hesperia. Bring them on down to the Hesperia Lake Store any time before the day of the Clinic and drop them off with one of our staff members. 2025 Lifeguard Training Course
Hesperia Recreation and Park District is gearing up for summer and is offering a Lifeguard Training course. Whether you are looking to get a summer job or add to your resume, the Lifeguard Training course is designed with you in mind. Just pass a pre-course swimming assessment and you are on your way to achieving a lifesaving skillset. Pre-registration is required prior to the start of the course. Fall Kid’s Kamp
Fall Kidโs Kamp registration is now open for ages 5-14! Kids Kamp will run October 7th through 11th, 2024. Children will participate in activities such as Sports, Arts & Crafts, Video Games, and more. Weekly Dance Class for Individuals with Special Needs
Starting this Friday, Rockin' Ourย Disabilities is hosting a Chance to Dance class for individuals with Special Needs. Dance is a great way for children and adults with special needs to get involved in an extracurricular activity while improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization. Dance can also be a unique and effective way to reach students with special needs because it is nonverbal. Through simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, rhythm, and jazz dance.
