Hesperia Recreation and Park District is gearing up for summer and is offering a Lifeguard Training course. Whether you are looking to get a summer job or add to your resume, the Lifeguard Training course is designed with you in mind. Just pass a pre-course swimming assessment and you are on your way to achieving a lifesaving skillset. Pre-registration is required prior to the start of the course.
HRPD encourages everyone over the age of 15 to participate. The course starts March 14th with the pre-course assessment at 4:00 p.m. The course fee is $75.00 and includes all course materials as well as a CPR mask and ARC certification card. There will be a non-refundable $10.00 fee for the pre-course swimming skills assessment. Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent sign a participation waiver prior to the in-water assessment.
