Summer Youth Basketball

Practices will begin the week of July 3rd.

  • Intro Division 5-6 yrs. plays at the Power Play Center, 10770 "I" Avenue
  • Pee Wee Division 7-8 yrs. and C Division 9-10 yrs. plays at the Epicentre, 17508 Hercules Street
  • B Division 11-12 yrs., A Division 12-13 yrs., and AA Division 15-17 yrs. plays at Rick Novack, 13558 Palm Street

Flag Football

at Hesperia Civic Plaza Park - 10200 Datura Road

Practices will start the week of September 11th.

First game will be Saturday, September 23rd (click here for game schedule).

Each team will receive one practice and one game a week.

 

 

Fall Girls Volleyball

Skills Assessment for team placement will be  Saturday, September 9th.  12-13 yrs. 6:00 p.m. & 14-17 yrs. 7:00 p.m. (must be registered to attend)

     

Youth Open Gym Basketball & Volleyball

Hesperia Recreation and Park District offers Open Gym Volleyball and Basketball for youth age 17 and under. You must have a valid student ID to enter the gym. This program is open to the first 35 people through the door for each session. It is the participant’s responsibility to make sure that they have a ride home.

LOCATION: Rick Novack Community Center, 13558 Palm Street
SCHEDULE:  
Volleyball: Saturdays, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. (separate court for adults)
Basketball: Sundays, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
FEES: 
Volleyball:
$4.00 per day for Hesperia residents, $6.00 per day for nonresidents
Basketball: $3.00 per day for Hesperia residents, $6.00 per day for nonresidents
No registration needed, pay at the door!

 

Adult Open Gym Basketball & Volleyball

Hesperia Recreation and Park District offers Open Gym Volleyball and Basketball for adults age 18 and older. Open Gym is a great way to reduce stress at the end of the day and get a good work out at the same time. You must have a valid Photo ID to enter the gym and it will be returned upon leaving the gym..

Pickleball 

What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a wiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It's easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

Bocce Ball

Hesperia Recreation and Parks District has two Bocce Ball courts available! First come, first serve basis. Must bring own equipment.
