St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold

Great Job to four year old, Lakai, winner of the St. Patrick's Day Craft Challenge!  He submitted the fantastic tutorial below.

What you will need:

  • Black construction paper for Pot
  • White construction paper for Cloud
  • Blue construction paper for Sky
  • Yellow or Gold construction paper for Coins (Kelsey uses sequins)
  • Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple construction paper for Rainbow
  • Glue
  • Cotton Balls (optional)

1.  Cut out Pot from black paper.

2.  Cut out a Cloud from white paper

3.  Cut out Coins from yellow/gold paper

4.  Cut ½ to ¾ inch wide strips of red, orange, yellow, green blue and purple paper

Glue rainbow strips on the back of the pot.  Next glue the other end of the strips to one side of the cloud.  Glue your pot onto the blue piece of paper with the strips under the pot.  Next bring the rainbow over to form a bridge and glue the cloud about half way down the paper.  Lastly, glue your coins on your pot.
