Youth Programs

After School Activities Program for the 2014-15 school year

Hesperia Recreation and Park District is proud to offer the After School Activities Program. A.S.A.P. offers a fun, safe, and wholesome environment for children during after school hours with homework time, sports activities, arts & crafts, and organized indoor & outdoor games. Programs will only be offered at all the elementary schools once minimum enrollment numbers are attained. This program is offered to first through sixth grade students, as well as seventh and eighth graders at Topaz.

Program fees are as follows: Early Dismissal Schools: Cottonwood, Hollyvale, Topaz, Mission Crest, & Mesquite Trails $25.00 per week, per child. During holidays, A.S.A.P. weekly fees are reduced to $20.00 (4 day week) and $15.00 (3 day week). Middle Dismissal Schools: Cypress, Eucalyptus, Joshua Circle, Maple, & Mesa Grande $23.00 per week, per child. During holidays, A.S.A.P. weekly fees are reduced to $18.50 (4 day week) and $14.00 (3 day week). Late Dismissal Schools: Carmel, Juniper, Kingston, Krystal, & Lime Street $20.00 per week, per child. During holidays, A.S.A.P. weekly fees are reduced to $16.00 (4 day week) and $12.00 (3 day week). Enrollment is open to HUSD students in grades 1 through 6 at the school site where they are enrolled and 7th and 8th grade at Topaz Preparatory Academy. Kindergarteners are not permitted in the program. Registration packets can be completed and submitted electronically on-line or they can be picked up at either Lime Street Park Community Center Office, 16292 Lime Street or at Rick Novack Community Center Office, 13558 Palm Street, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Registration packets include: Registration Form, Emergency Data Form, Program Rules Contract and Photo Permission. These forms must be filled out completely, prior to your child’s enrollment into A.S.A.P. PLEASE NOTE: Once registration packets are submitted and have been reviewed, parent/guardian will receive notification whether your child(ren) has been accepted into the program or has been placed on a waiting list.

TWO WAYS TO PAY PROGRAM FEES
1. Online program fee payment is now available and is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!

Select your student’s school from the buttons below and you will be taken to our registration system. Please note all online transactions will be charged a 5% processing fee. Once there, enter your child(s) information and follow the simple steps. Account creation is instant. Once completed, you can enroll for any programs that are listed in our system.

Note: The initial registration process for A.S.A.P. will require the completion of a variety of
A.S.A.P. required forms. Once the initial registration is completed and in our system subsequent
registrations will be a snap! By completing the online registration process you are agreeing to
all terms and conditions of the Hesperia Recreation and Park District and the A.S.A.P. program.

2. Walk-in program fee payment

Walk-in program fee payment will be accepted at Lime Street Park Community Center Office, 16292 Lime Street or at Rick Novack Community Center Office, 13558 Palm Street, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Epicentre

Epicentre is open Monday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Friday 2:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. For Hesperia Teens ages 13 to 17. We are now offering different sports to play. We will have sports and game tournaments. The best thing about the Epicentre is everything is FREE! See you at the EPICENTRE! Hesperia School District I.D. required, HUSD dress code enforced.
