• Alcohol is PROHIBITED at Movies in the Park activities. Smoking only in designated areas.
• If weather is questionable, Movies in the Park may be cancelled. Please call (760) 244-7518, Ext. 123 one hour prior to the event. A message will be posted if the event is cancelled.
• All Hesperia Recreation and Park District rules and Code of Conduct will be enforced.

June 8th – The Lorax

This animated adventure follows the journey of a boy as he searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world. Rated PG for brief mild language.

June 22nd – Here Comes the Boom

In this comedy, former collegiate wrestler, Scott Voss, is now a 42-year-old apathetic biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten the school’s music program and its teacher, Scott springs into action. He dusts off his long-unused wrestling skills and earns money for the program by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Though the school nurse thinks he’s crazy, Scott gains something he never expected, and the school rallies behind him. Rated PG for bouts of MMA sports violence, some rude humor and language.

July 6th – Madagascar 3

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style. Rated PG for some mild action and rude humor.

July 20th – Rise of the Guardians

When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children all over the world. Rated PG for thematic elements and some mildly scary action.

August 3rd – The Odd Life of Timothy Green

This inspiring, magical story about a happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green, who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim—and their town of Stanleyville—learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts. Rated PG for mild thematic elements and brief language.

August 17th – The Pirates! Band of Misfits

The luxuriantly bearded Pirate Captain is a boundlessly enthusiastic, if somewhat less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. With a rag-tag crew at his side, and seemingly blind to the impossible odds stacked against him, the Captain has one dream: to beat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz to the much coveted Pirate Of The Year Award. It’s a quest that takes our heroes from the shores of exotic Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. Along the way they battle a diabolical queen and team up with a haplessly smitten young scientist, but never lose sight of what a pirate loves best: adventure. Rated PG for mild action, rude humor and some language.

August 31st – Thunderstruck

When Brian, a hopelessly uncoordinated young fan magically switches talents with his hero (Kevin Durant, playing himself), he becomes the star of his high school team…while Kevin Durant suddenly can’t make a shot to save his life. But with the playoffs approaching, Brian learns that being a true winner involves working hard at your own game, and he tries to make things right in time to prevent a catastrophic end to his hero’s season. September 14th – Hotel Transylvania

Welcome to Hotel Transylvania, Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort, where monsters and their families can live it up, free from meddling from the human world. Over-protective of his teenage daughter, Mavis, Dracula fabricates tales of elaborate dangers to dissuade her adventurous spirit. As a haven for Mavis, he opens Hotel Transylvania, where his daughter and some of the world’s most famous monsters Frankenstein and his bride, the Mumm, a family of werewolves, and more can kick back in safety and peace. For Drac, catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem but his world could come crashing down when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis. Rated PG for some rude humor, action and scary images.
